Established in 2007, Chinese House is a professional training institute teaching Chinese Mandarin to students from all around the world. So far, it has provided training courses for more than 2000 foreigners living in Ningbo from over 30 countries, such as Japan, Korea, France, the United States, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Russia. Apart from Mandarin courses of eight types with eleven different levels, the school also offers eight kinds of cultural courses including Chinese calligraphy, Taichi and cooking all year round. Teachers are spoken highly of by foreign students, due to their rich teaching experience and effective teaching methods. Currently, several corporates including Mitsubishi from Japan, LG from Korea and CIMTAS from Turkey have signed corporate training contracts with the school. Students from different countries join “Mandarin Camp” hosted by Chinese House every summer and winter holiday.In 2009, the school introduced TCSL (Teaching Chinese as Second Language) training program through cooperating with China Language Resource Academy. Through this Mandarin teacher training program, we trained over 1000 Mandarin teachers worldwide.
